God actually *does* hate beads. It's Jesus who's the big bead freak. Most people don't realize that, but it's true. I know. We talk. The Holy Ghost is more into scrapbooking, which earns universal disdain from both other parts of the Godhead, but hey, he loves him some croppin'.

Yeah, I have pretty much had to learn to run my business by making every mistake possible. Thanks NYU BFA in Technical Production with Honors!

No! Spiders are everywhere! I wrote a whole entry about it last night and now I'll have to add your sister to my list of others who have had spider-related trauma in the past month.

My roommate is a graphic design major, and I WISH she had to take some kind of business course. Or SOMETHING to ground her and give her a little common sense. Either way, typography and collages should NOT be the most difficult things required of her. Love, your less-funny middle sister

Yeah, I'm totally a copycat. But, I was thinking about the spiders before I read your entry. Then, I said, "what the hell," and wrote about them anyway. Gem-chan also recently wrote about spiders. I think it's just spider season.

Ya know, your current employer has an excellent business school. And you get free classes. You should look into taking some business classes. For free.

But Claudia, what if they make me do math? And I'm glad you wrote about spiders because they have been a #1 big deal around here lately and I'm glad it's not just me who's noticed/

They offer some thru continuing studies -- starting yer own business, women & finance -- look at what they're offering and contact the cont studies dept about what you're looking for. Math is gonna factor into it but maybe you can find a tutor in the b-school?

Call me a copycat, too, as I was going to mention that possibly your place of employment lets you take classes. But don't knock the degree in 'Crafts' . Heck. I've got a Ph.D. in Recreation and Leisure. (Yes. I am an expert recreationalist. And I've got a degree to prove it. *ahem.) They did, however, make us take business classes.... Still, it's a Ph.D., so it's not like they taught us anything particularly practical! ;-)
