Oh, I know - do some people even LOOK in the mirror before they go out in the morning? I work for a government agency (oy you should see some of the Walmart outfits) and if my shirt and bottoms match I figure I'm already ahead of 90% of the people I work with. But I love my Crocs - they're great for after bike rides; you can leave them in the hot car and they don't melt or come unglued.

You had me right up until the Crocs. *weeping*

Dang, how did we get old?!? Course I still dress in mostly black, but I keep telling people it's just for simplicity's sake (and that I'm a pirate).

See, I know you were making fun of me somehow. That subliminally during lunch you were looking at me and thinking, "wtf?" I caught a glimpse of myself coming back AFTER BUYING YOU LUNCH and wondered, "Would Amblus hate this shirt if someone else was wearing it? Would she have the guts to tell what not to wear?" Sigh. I do not own mom jeans (or any jeans for that matter) or crocs but I'm sure I could use a fashion injection. Time to go shopping?

Oh stop it! You looked just fine and I actually really liked your stripy shirt. Think about where I work. That's what I was talking about.

Oh, it's even worse here! The many flavors of holiday/teacher sweaters! My trouble is I forget what DECADE I'm in and can't remember how old my clothes are and, if they don't have sticker goo or crayon marks on them, I wear them.

Happy birthday :) Even if you are old!

Happy birthday. I clearly need to go home and change out of my jeans with pleats and my Winnie the Pooh t-shirt before you'll even consider me a friend.

Happy b-day! I think 35 is better than 25.

Happy Birthday. Even if you're old, you're still younger than I. I don't wear mom jeans either, but I do wear clogs. I draw the line at cat sweatshirts, though.

It's true: 35 is the new 25, because if I recall correctly, 25 was the new lame. 35 is the do-over year.
