I died with you as I read that.
I took an aerobic step class once, but it was disguised with the name "Body Sculpting". The best part was that it all took place in front of a giant plate glass window, through which the entire gym could witness my humiliation. The best part of the best part was when a gaggle of my students walked over and watched for awhile.

I feel humiliated when I fail to follow the steps on the workout video in my own living room. There was one morning my husband woke up and found me, drenched in sweat and sobbing, on the floor behind my step thingie. Never again. Sorry for the lurking.
